Review:

„Lost and Found“ is a fascinatingly produced track in progressive house guise. This production scores with repetitive almost evocative vocals and a beautiful pulsating sparkling syntie base. Sonically, the whole thing is also very appealingly produced, even if only in 16-bit/44.1 kHz.

Lost and Found belongs, as it seems, to a transitional phase of INAMAR. On the one hand, you can still clearly hear the Ibiza ambience from INAMAR’s production phase at Gimmick Records in Ibiza in the form of clearly more experimental Minimal/Tech-House / Progressive House approaches and many Trance influences.

But the stylistic turn towards more commerciality, which was associated with the move to ADORMA Records Label in Switzerland, is already clearly evident. After countless test runs, INAMAR seems to me to sound more relaxed and free, somehow more authentic on Gimmick Records. Which doesn’t surprise me, because INAMAR loves the IBIZA ambience and the local club scene more than anything. But the fact that her style has changed with the change to Adorma is certainly not only due to INAMAR, but probably also due to the label ADORMA. It would be very interesting to know how the change to ADORMA happened.
