German producer Oliver Schories, known for his distinctive deep house sound, has teamed up with British Icelandic singer-songwriter Fredrik Ferrier to produce the song Heaven, released July 22, 2022 on Nora En Pure’s Purified Records.
Heaven exudes a slow-burning energy from the first beat, relying on glitchy synths and laid-back percussion to set the right tone. Using basic deep house musical genre tools, the producers embed Fredrik’s hypnotic vocals into multidimensional electronic soundscapes, creating a profoundly masterful work in classic Purified Records fashion. Oliver Schories, who already dipped into the scene as a young Hamburg Guy (Hamburger Jung), is today, more than ten years later, no longer to be ignored from the Hanseatic dancefloor scene. Already with the release of his first album „Herzensangelegenheit“ on Parquet Recordings in 2012, he quickly became one of the most sought-after acts in Germany.

His first-class productions caught the attention of audiences worldwide, and Oliver began touring extensively throughout the USA, Europe, and Australia. On his own label „der turnbeutel“ Oliver promotes upcoming talents, while on the „Pracht“ imprint Oliver Schories releases productions of well-known industry giants.
Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Oliver Schories focused on new music, releasing some of his most creative productions to date in 2020 and 2021. His album „Packard“, recorded together with Jan Blomqvist, was streamed over a million times in the first month of its release and is featuring impressive remixes by artists such as Nora En Pure, Giorgia Angiuli and Monkey Safari. With high-profile remixes for RÜFÜS DU SOL and others, Oliver continues to stay on the ball and set distinctive markers for the path through contemporary dance music.
British-Icelandic artist Fredrik Ferrier is known worldwide for his unique timbres, distinctive falsetto voice, and almost lyrical bass lines with an emotional power emanating from within. He has collaborated with a number of the world’s most respected songwriters, having produced for Justin Bieber, George Michael, Martin Garrix and Eric Clapton, and his music has been endorsed by BBC Radio 1, Capital FM and many other leading broadcasters worldwide.
Collaborations with Spinnin‘ Records, Smash The House and Ultra Music is highlighting his contribution to dance music around the world.
