Intro

INAMAR is a young up-and-coming producer and DJane from Zurich, Switzerland, producing a bright, sunny Good Vibrations version of melodic house and deep house with slight techno touches. She was born in Zurich to a Spanish mother and Swiss father. After a trip to IBIZA, where she got inspired by many different and great artists, she started producing electronic music.

INAMAR

The artist and DJane attracted people’s attention with her tireless drive and passion for her craft. She is always trying to find a way to take her creations up to the next level. With her releases on Adorma Records „Lost And Found“, „Always Love you“ and more, INAMAR’s impressive discography offers a variety of sounds that electronic music lovers all over the world are loving.

„Having found my passion is a real blessing. I think that’s the most important thing in life, to find something you really love and I am deeply happy to share all my music with you. I hope you enjoy my music,“ INAMAR says about herself and her work.

How it all began between INAMARMUSIC and WaterDomeMusic

I had renamed my website MusicArtistSupport to WaterDomeMusic sometime around mid 2021 to get out of the Covid 19 maelstrom, MusicArtistSupport I had founded in early 2021 as a non-profit project to help artists through the periods of the worldwide Corona lockdowns. This included promoting their videos and releases and encouraging people to buy their releases. To this day, WaterDomeMusic is still a non-profit project.

And so it was almost automatic that INAMAR’s new single, titled „Would You Stay“ came to my attention in mid-2021, because INAMAR does a really good job on Instagram. At the beginning my first thought was, „Quite nice“, but then, a little bit later on, I finally had to answer her question „Would You Stay“ with a clear and unequivocal „Yes, I would“.

INAMAR

Now, a year or so later, INAMAR with your entire catalog has become a constant factor with me, with an immense influence on my own musical universe. A few days ago I bought their entire catalog as files from Qobuz, edited them a bit, and now they run in continuous loop on my music server. By the way, it happens very, very rarely that I buy the entire catalog of an artist, especially if only singles are in the portfolio. In 2020, Nora En Pure achieved that last time. But INAMAR has toppled the great Nora En Pure from the pedestal almost from a standing start.

Music is an essential part of my life, and INAMAR belongs to the very few acts that have changed my musical world in my life permanently. In the 70s it was Manfred Mann’s Earth Band with Solar Fire (1973), in the 80s it was U2 and Depeche Mode, at the turn of the millennium it was the Cowboy Junkies, Brian Jonestown Massacre, in the 2010s ff. it was Nora En Pure. Well, and now it’s INAMAR and that with ever-growing enthusiasm, so to say.

INAMAR’s Releases
Take Me Higher (Adorma, 10/2021)
take me higher 800 hr

„Take me Higher“ is a fast house number with lots of good vibes and a beautifully fresh arrangement with earworm character. The track has an extremely good sound quality with great spaciousness, without any sharpness in the high frequency range and with a rich round bass without any rumble. A perfect track in every respect.

Would You Stay (Adorma, 06/2021)
would you stay 800 hr

“Would You Stay” is one of my secret favorites. A fantastic track in midtempo style, but arranged straight forward. With pearly synthie/piano passages and multiple sound layers. Very, very nice, again with excellent sound.

Always Love You (Adorma, 04/2021)
always love you 800

One of the best tracks INAMAR has ever released. Melodic house, like Miss Monique couldn’t do it better. A remix of this track was recently released in the RCRDSHP NFT version, strictly limited and exclusively available at RCRDSHP.

Lost and Found (Adorma, 02/2021)
lost and found 800

Lost & Found is a very fascinating track in progressive house style. With repetitive vocals and a pulsating, sparkling syntie base. Also, sonically, the whole thing is very appealingly produced (16-bit/44.1 kHz).

Runaway (Gimmick, 12/2020)
runaway

From here on follow three singles produced by INAMAR at Gimmick Records (Ibiza). „Runaway“ is melodic house track with light techno influences, great groove, an epic melody line and some enchanting vocals. It is a superb mix with a very good sound at 16-bit / 44.1 kHz.

Underneath the Stars – Extended Mix (Gimmick, 09/2020)

The extended mix of „Underneath the Stars“ steps up a notch in terms of magic and fascinates all along the line. The track is, like the other two from Gimmick Records, in Lossless format with 16-bit / 44.1 kHz and sounds exceptionally good over the entire frequency range.

Underneath the Stars (Gimmick 08/2020)
underneath the stars 800

„Underneath the Stars“ is a great deep house track, a bit rather restrained, with a slight touch of melancholy. All in all, „Underneath the Stars“ is a wonderful track with throbbing beats and an elfin voice, probably even from INAMAR herself. The track is, like the other two from Gimmick Records in Lossless format with 16-bit / 44.1 kHzand it actually sounds exceptionally good for it over the entire frequency range.

Falling Into Your Arms (INAMAR/Spinnup-Universal)
falling into your arms

„Falling Into Your Arms“ is the debut from INAMAR. When I first heard this track in 2021, INAMAR had taken me by storm. The track is an absolutely enchanting, sparsely arranged deep house number, with pearly keyboard lines and INAMAR’s beautiful voice.

Unfortunately, the track has disappeared from almost all streaming platforms and is only available in a DEMO version on SoundCloud. INAMAR had released the track in 2019 via Spinnup, the DIY digital distributor by Unversal Music Group. However, this will only be available to selected musicians, whoever that may be, as of July 19, 2022.

The works of other artists were removed from the platform after that deadline. In order to continue to offer the music on streaming services such as Spotify, Apple, Amazon Music or Tidal and Deezer, artists must switch to another digital distributor. For this, a migration tool is or was offered by Universal for support.

The Bottom Line

In conclusion, INAMAR has an outstanding and excellent music portfolio. The tracks are all perfectly arranged and brilliantly mixed. As a young producer and DJane from Zurich in Switzerland, INAMAR has an immense potential which is expected to expand massively in the coming months. In addition, INAMAR’s fresh and open way of communicating with her fans and her community should help her on that way.

I am really looking forward to INAMAR’s next releases and, so God is willing, to a successful collaboration together with her. For me INAMAR is one of the most important producers in the field of Deep House and Melodic House, and it’s a lot of fun to listen to her stuff day by day.
